"Antiques are Green and so is Petworth"

Feedback from John Bird, Chairman of the Petworth Antique Dealers Association is that the Steet Market last Sunday was an out and out success. Antique Dealers were selling good quality items to both trade and public.

All participating shops reported a good number of visitors and some healthy sales figures.

The great weather obviously helped, but this fresh approach and the 'Green twist' encouraged people who hadn't previously considered antiques as a real option to buy items for their homes.

Petworth is already planning a similar event for August 2010
